Well this is interesting, not sure how they come to the conclusions they have but all 92 league grounds ranked.

We are 27th?!

MKD last of the 92 and Oxford 90th.

Quote
Every Stadium in English Football League Ranked by Journalist Who's Been to all 92

For every club in the English pyramid – from the mainstays in the Premier League to those who flirt with relegation from League Two year-on-year – football grounds are held in such high regard and all 92 have been ranked by Daily Mail journalist Oliver Holt.

A cornerstone of the beautiful game, of course, football fan culture has been kept alive by those who pay money, week in week out, to follow their team around the country as if it is a way of life as opposed to a time-consuming hobby.

And central to the groundhopping tradition is the venues they visit: from their outward appearance to the atmosphere and everything in between. As mentioned, Holt has visited all 92 grounds in England's football set-up – and they’ve been ranked from worst to best.

Without looking I'm sure "character" plays a part and people are fed up with souless bowls or new grounds done on the cheap like Oxford.

There are some bloody strange ones there, Barrow 7th (quite possibly the worst ground I have ever been to including plenty of non league ones) Accrington 12th (pushes Barrow close) and Edgeley Park at no.1?Huh?

Edgely Park is noted for its pies, though.

Might be wrong, but I'm sure Holt is a Stockport fan.

Which one would have expected a reputable journalist to mention in the piece.....
