Thank you for sharing this, I was way too young for this era but my dad was very much in amongst it.  One of those rare good times that some older fans remember well, but younger fans have no real affiliation to.  We have a 1969 chant but I bet there are loads of fans that had no idea we had the record points in a 3 for a win season with 102.

Controversial from me

Macari & Brian Hillier both get away with a lot of stick due to the success we had that overlooks the absolute mess their actions left the club in. We have been battling that ever since

Loved the era, i love Macari he is an absolute legend of course but still has a huge part in why the club went downhill in my opinion

Macari, despite the issues, is still my favourite ever Town manager and the first ever to win a Championship with us.
