Injury news

Quote
George Cox is back, Joel McGregor will be training today but not ready for this game. Billy isn’t half as bad as we thought it was. I have some good news. It gives me some selection help, with Ollie’s young boy getting better. Things are looking good.

Feels like quite an important game. Lots of draws mean we're - despite things feeling better - at one win in the last six. A win would do everyone the power of good.

Survival isn't yet in our own hands, mathmatically. Though clearly it is really.

What position does Myers play?

Today is a great chance to get 3 points on board. Barrow are absolutely crap and despite signing Tyler Smith on loan, we have to think that a win, given our recent positive home league form is more or less a given.

Kiss of death there probably.

Myers is the backup keeper when Barden was injured so was never likely to be on the bench today anyway.

This was the team we decided not to shoot at until the last minute when they had had their keeper sent off in the first half wasn't it?

Yep it was when they had a CB in goal.

For me this is as close to a "must win" game as we get at this stage of the season, of course theres loads of game sleft but we have to beat teams around us that are within touching distance, we can go level on points with Barrow if we beat them today but would need to win 4-0 to go above them!

They have only 1 win in the last 15 league and FA cup games, so winnable.

I also see that the supporters club coach was cancelled this week so that have no coaches coming, be lucky to muster 50 fans in the away end.

As a wee preview, here are some Barrow fans thoughts on their forum about the game.

Quote from: Barra Fans
Well losing to a team 3 points worse off than us would not be good would it as per Harrogate. A point would not be a disaster but we must be going out looking for all 3 imo. Don't know what the injury situation is but the new signings should give the team a lift. Please DONT lose.

Swindon will be looking to beat the league's worst team in the form table what's makes you think we're going to beat them.

Unbeaten in there last 4 home games and from all accounts should have comfortably beaten high flying crewe last weekend. Far from an easy game so that some might think.

Don't know how anybody could give that assessment, you couldn't see much it was that foggy.

We’re currently everyone’s must win game

When was the last time we beat a team below us in the league ? Not to mention we are currently the worst team for form over last few weeks ! 3 points would be massive but I'd take a draw away from home.

Must not lose game….

To paraphrase slightly, I think it should be a case of win or bust on Saturday. I am expecting 3 points!

I feel we have a strong squad available and can't keep moaning about injuries. I really do feel if we get beat there's nowhere clemence can hide and serious questions will need to be asked (not necessarily sacked). No bus on shows the fan base is disconnected from the team atm. How lovely would a 3 point Saturday be to cheer things up
