Down to earth with a thud.

And no, you can't vote for McGoldrick.

Drinan, Wright and Delaney were all ok I thought. Kirkman looked inexperienced for the first time but wasn't close to the worse player on the pitch. Sobowale had a stinker. Cotterill and Butterworth were poor too.

Bycroft made a few good saves after he came on, clean sheet from him.

Drinan for his effort.

That's fair.

Absolutely awful in both boxes. Their keeper could have spent the afternoon eating chicken wings in hooters with Batch today.

….or Batch could have played in goal

Yeah, I go Drinan but Wright had another good game. And Bycroft did himself a couple of favours

Clarke for me. Not too much quality from us today. Could have played for a long time without scoring.

First half we did ok, Mcgoldrick the difference.

2nd half was really poor,  no threat and very little quality.

There were a few doom/gloom merchants there today but 8 points from Notts, Wimbledon, Bromley, Colchester and Grimsby - 3 of those away - is not a bad return.

Notts County should be the blueprint for what we are trying to achieve. The fact we are absolutely miles off it, is very sad.

First half was Wright by a country mile. Everything we did positively started with him.

Second half was poor from everyone really. Not sure if anyone stood out.

So I'll go for Wright

Tempted to go for Drinan as he had a good first half. Not so much second.
Bycroft did nothing wrong and made 2 saves
Wright was solid, if unspectacular.
But, lots of 6/10s
So, I think I can genuinely go for 'none of the above' today.

The only threat we had was a couple of balls from Wright to Drinan.

Sobowale with the tackle of the match to stop it being 3

Kirkman for the first time looked vulnerable.

We had little threat without Harry Smith, Tshimanga was absolutely terrible.

The rest a bit average, against a generally better team, with a player who is too good for league 2

Goal machine Drinan for me.

McGoldrick an absolute pleasure to watch him play
Always found that space to play in.

The heavy schedule looked to have taken its toll on a few towards the end, but a very good points return overall.
