Support the team, not the regime is the motto

This is what the majority of non SO69 supporters don't get, or don't want to listen to, including our Manager..  Stated that he wants to just manage the team and not get involved in ownership topics, so don't then..  The protesters are 100% behind the team and whoever is managing them whilst being 100% against the regime for the state our club finds itself in.

Our results have improved since the orange hats appeared.

Orange hats are good for the team.

Agree, its given people an outlet and stopped the games from getting toxic. Sadly quite hard for some to understand and/or see any negativity no matter how valid and go on the offensive.

Toxic positivity sufferers.

Striker
Pacy wide player

Kirkman to be sold to a championship club
Wright to sold
Smith to be sold
Cain to leave on free transfer for a relegation rival

Selling Smith would be the stupidest thing Clem ever did.

I can't see it, even under this ownership.

You lot are far too optimistic! Selling Smith and not replacing him more like.

So some thoughts on the current squad:

Would want to keep: Sobowale, Delaney, Wright, Cox, McGregor, Minturn, Kirkman, Ofoborh, Clarke, Cotterill, Kilkenny, Brown, Smith

Not fussed either way but expect to stay: Bycroft (backup), Longelo, Hall, Butterworth, Drinan, Tshimanga

Need a move if we can find them one: Cain, Uwakwe, Glatzel (sadly)

Recalls expected: Barden, Freckleton

So more players there that we'd keep than expected four weeks ago. I'd expect one or two surprise names to depart just because that tends to be how our Januaries go. Harry Smith is the one I fear - McGregor would be a bigger emotional blow as the local lad and Uber prospect, but Smith is the only person in our team scoring goals with any regularity.

In terms of ins, as people have said, a new goalkeeper and a bit of pace both at the back and at the front.

Going to be an interesting month - a lot of possibles, but many probables. Have a feeling it's going to be busier than we'd maybe expect.

We have a serious issue between the sticks. Neither keeper is good enough and the chopping and changing of them is detrimental to both of their respective developments. Send Barden back. But I would also look to get Bycroft a NL loan as he won't develop sitting on our bench but we cannot risk playing the rest of the season with him.

Keep Smith, Wright, Clarke, Cox and McGregor. The rest are much of a muchness to be honest. Average League Two players.

Can't see us selling Smith and I can't really see any clubs coming in for him. He a typical League Two journeyman that rocks up on a free.

Glatz I could see leaving but who would buy him? He's in awful form. If he was to leave, I imagine it would be for free.

I would personally like to see Tyreece Simpson return on a loan.
