I'm sure I'll be proved wrong immediately but I have a theory that nothing has ever happened in a first half of extra time. Second half sure, but never the first half.

This game feels pretty unhelpful for our chances on Tuesday, but ignoring everything else around it it's been a good showing.

Extra time should definitely be cut down.

Like rather a short 10-15 minute frantic burst of football.

See Mr Hodgetts reminding us that Swindon were the first team to miss all of its penalties in a shootout!

And that we have never won an FA cup penalty shoot out.
