Fuck me it has gotten bad if people are remembering the time of Sandro as anything but a shit show.  Post him we have shown that running a football club for the benefit of agents has some serious downsides, but he'd already proven the fact that narcissistic naivety knows no bounds in our management structure and delivers the square root of fuck all.

It's been absolutely murder since Garner and Chorley left. Clearly these were guys that knew what they were doing and since then, it's been a hotch potch of badly executed and in most cases zero planning.

It's hardly surprising we're currently what 2 points away from being the worst team in the league, on par with bloody Morecambe, who off field are a circus.

Did we ever hire that marketing specialist that is apparently very difficult to do and has to go through a 6 month application process?

Also as I'm sure it's coming. 'TRANSFER RUMOURS PEOPLE'

One swallow doesn't make a summer. And surely if your onto something that worked, why go into piss and panic mode and then consistently do anything but?

Actually wasn't Chorley a Lee Power hire?

Chorley joined as a scout in 2018, so Power hired Chorley. Why do you think he was forced out?! He wasn’t part of the inner circle of crooks and shadow owners.

In the deleted Moonraker interview, Sandro confirmed he was approached early 2022 about the role while Chorley was in the job.

No wonder Chorley moved on and that probably influenced Garner's decision given how closely they worked.

As somebody who isn't as clued up about the ins and outs

Am I correct in saying that Kiely essentially issued an ultimatum to Clem that he wouldn't buy shares unless he could bring in his own man. Which turned out to be Sandro?

Not heard that one before. Would anyone know anyway?

Not sure about that but Sandro was Kiely’s man as it was his ‘money ball’ model they wanted to bring in.

Timeline doesn't really match up, the loan/share purchase was Sept 22, Sandro was brought in in June 22. Certainly you could see it as a deepening of Kiely's relationship with Clem, but not really a condition of the loan.

I see Sandro has been working for William Hill for the past 7 months. His LinkedIn info about when he worked at STFC is quite interesting. One of his ticked key achievements was 'Ensured all achievements were in line with the strategy set out by the owner of the club'

That was what he said in the Moonraker but had to keep up the competitive budget pretence when it was bottom half.

Scott Lindsey was taking stick from some quarters for being in or around the play offs when from a budget perspective he was over achieving.

Did we ever hear from Sam about why that article was pulled from the Moonraker?
