Barden was solid, distributed well and made a couple of saves.
McGurk was absent for longer periods, but when involved, scored and/or set up chances.
Butterworth ran at defenders
Drinan scared the living daylights out of Spurs when he ran at them
McGregor looked like a veteran coming on
Delaney and Hall don’t look that great to me
King is non league standard at best
Ameen had a poor game
Cotterill only tried in the second half of the second half
Glatzel has a very poor first touch
Longelo didn’t look that threatening going forward, nor strong defending

I "followed" Paul Bodin who went for Ant McCormick for stepping up with maturity over the full 90'. Several good performances, especially in the 2nd half.  Of the rest, I'd mention McGurk for his match winning quality (one goal and one shot saved onto the crossbar) and Longelo who IMO played well in BOTH halves.

McGurk. Lad should be starting league matches. He's still a rough diamond so will make some errors {gladly, not admin ones}. Goal and assist. But that goal would be replayed countless times in any top league.

Town need to be appreciative of his talent because they could have a real gem on their hands.

McGurk is great to watch. He doesn't get hugely involved but you know what he does is quality. Some excellent passing and a lovely finish. He did give the ball away in a dangerous position on the edge of his own box(ish) trying to be too clever, but it's great to have a player like that in the squad, that has the ability to pull the proverbial rabbit from the hat of mediocrity.

McGurk by a country mile for me.

McGurk was absent for longer periods, but when involved, scored and/or set up chances.
I think thats harsh on McGurk, I know you arent his biggest fan, flair players can't be used fully all the time, they drift in and out of games, but when they do things it shows you why they are there. McGurk scored one, had 1 assist and 2 shots that were dangerous. I don't think he could have done much more.

Hes not a defender so dont ask him to track back as its not his game, did Payne or for that matter Bobby Barnes, Mark Walters or even Don Rodgers track back and make tackles in games? no of course they didn't as thats not their game. (no I am not directly comparing his quality to them, yet)

Play him and play to his strengths and he will get better and better IMO. The only true creatve player at the club, even Ollie says similar.

We should be using McGurk exactly the same way we used Kemp.

Free role, do what you like, create & score goals.

I always assumed McGurk was bought in as Kemp’s replacement as there is a lot of crossover on type of player there…

Yesterday McGurk was given that free role sat behind the front 2 playing slightly more on the left but had free roam to go where he wanted.

It worked quite well, you could see the lack of game time worked against him but he well.

Spurs had some very technically talented youngsters on show, which was to be expected.

If it was possible to read the numbers on the back of their shirts then I could find out who they were.
They were a little clearer in the highlights but illegible from the gloom in the upper reaches of the Arkells.

Enjoyed the game though & a good win.
