Will Wright is a Colossus . He must be wondering what he's doing here. Give him Player of the Year now.Ofobohr was very good first half and his removal at half time is baffling, McGregor continues to impress. Tshimanga is terrible. Delaney on the bench Saturday, not involved tonight. What's going on?

Ofoborh was the best player on the pitch for us
Kilkenny tried very hard , but was surrounded by ineptitude
McGregor had a torrid start, but did pretty well against a tricky opponent
Wright looked better than he actually was, as much of our possession was through him
Smith took his goal well (although he was definitely offside)
Sobowale is a trier, but makes a few mistakes
The rest were non league at best.

McGregor for his one-on-one battle all game long (until he was subbed!), one of maybe three players that looked like they gave a fuck.

Someone suggested a while ago that he would be off to link up again with Lindsey at Franchise in the Window. I can absolutely see that happening sadly. I'm amazed we managed to sign him in the first place to be honest....

The stats at Who scored have Gavin Kilkenny having a bit of a blinder yesterday. Did anyone see that? Looked anonymous to me. https://www.whoscored.com/Matches/1828375/Live/England-League-Two-2024-2025-Salford-City-Swindon

Definitely a Scott Lindsay player isn't he?

Agreed. If I were him I'd be on the phone to his agent ready for January. But I doubt he's a quitter.

Any idea his contract is for?

This is the biggest issue. As bad as it is, it usually gets worse in January.

I do have a worry we spunked January's money at the end of the window. We'll see where we are in the league and whether it focuses minds.

I only saw the second half, but he was our best player for that. Particularly as he had to play midfield by himself
