We’ve been worse. We’ve been better. Think I can predict the winner!

If you ask Kennedy, he'd probably go for Freckleton.

In all seriousness, easiest pick of the season so far, definitely McGregor

McGregor clear. Good efforts from Kilkenny and Drinan I thought

McGregor played very well.  The others varied between very poor and mixed.   Even Barden's distribution was needlessly off beam.

It would have been none of the above but for McGregor.  But Kilkenny was decent.

Thought Barden did okay too. Cox some good some bad. Strikers ran around.

But yeah, it's McG.

For me it is McGregor, appears to have that extra something we have been missing and for someone so young can hopefully only get better.

McGregor. The only one who looked a proper professional footballer.

The rest looked pretty non-league.

Chuffed for McGregor.

Didn’t watch the game but was high on him from the back end of last season & would have gladly had him as RWB #1 for this season…

What on earth does Kennedy see in training? because if McGregor can perform like that away from home in league 2, he can most certainly do it in training against our shit lot.

It's not out of the blue either. He was one of our best players towards the end of last season as well.

Direct. Confident. Skilful. He even has a bit of end product to his final ball too. Should've had at least one assist.

We will do well to keep hold of this kid. Stop the nonsense and get him in the starting 11 weekly. He will only get better.

His defensive positioning isn't very good, that's the only thing I can think of that keeps him out of the team. But it's understandable, he's a winger who got converted fairly recently. And he offers far more than King has this far.

McGregor by a country mile. Watch him now not get selected on Saturday.

McGregor was outstanding. Barden commanded his area well. Looks a presence in goal unlike Bycroft.

McGregor was the best player on the pitch and it wasn't even close.
