It is early days.

Under Gunning that game would have finished 5-3 (potentially in either direction)

Gunning was a gambler. He kept rolling the dice, sometimes he won, sometimes he lost.
It feels like Kennedy isn’t even rolling the dice.

Not a criticism, but I think you are taking Gunning's first spell and applying it to his second spell, because my memory of his second spell was the opposite to that, if anything a lack of risk and a happy to take a draw when a win was available.  I would prefer Flynn or Kennedy over Gunnings spell but out of the last 3 managers Flynn was by far the better and we couldn't wait to get him out.

Let's face it, we should be expecting a better calibre of manager with the backing that Kennedy has recieved.  Clem is making a complete balls up of manager recruitment, we should expect better than knowing that Gunning will be brought back in.

My summary:
1. Gave away a goal due to poor positioning by Bycroft
2. We now have a workmanlike midfield. There is little creativity there. There is little pace or even change of pace.
3. At 11 vs 10 we couldn’t get crosses to anyone. The players weren’t on the same wavelength again and we often struggled to keep possession.
4. Smith was naive in getting sent off. None of our strikers seem to be able to finish. Not sure that Tshimanga is above NL standard. But, difficult to tell as we aren’t creating much.
5. We kept doing the same thing after the sending off. We should have mixed it up. We kept trying to get it down the left and occasionally down the right.
6. The first shot on target after Feeley went in goal beat him. His push around the post looked as if it was going wide. But even if it wasn’t, 2 shots on target against 10 men and a non-specialist goalie is unbelievable. Surely if we’d had 5 or 6 shots on target, we might have scored a couple of times.
7. Bizarre substitutions. Don’t bring Sobowale on if you don’t think he is good enough going forward. As for taking your only goal threat off - He’d been patched up and should have been left out there. Drinan did nothing
8. Kennedy doesn’t seem very good. Although he talks a good game, but just doesn’t seem to see what the rest of us are seeing.
9. I was shocked that the commentators gave MotM to King. I thought he was lazy and wasteful.
10. In non-game stuff, I don’t like personal insults. I also ‘celebrated’ the goal by saying ‘Halle-bloody-lujah!’

Wouldn’t rule it out at this early stage…

One simple question needs answering, why the hell did we not shoot on sight from everywhere. It's boggled my mind.

The goal any keeper would have saved.
This backing up your question. Apart from a free kick which a few Barra fans thought it was wide we created fuck all for 60 mins.
Any level of football when the keeper is replaced by an outfield player you shoot at every possible opportunity. Sure we never created many openings but ffs come on.
That was shite.

I never saw any of the game but kept tabs on the game with regular updates on here from respected posters who were all saying how shockingly poor we were. What’s worrying is listening to Kennedy’s post match interview where he is saying the complete opposite and praising the players and even himself for the substitutions.

We look at least as bad as late last season and without the good start......so doesn't look good.
