Devon in September, lovely.

Mainly here for the beer, but it's a first team fixture &  a chance to get that first win on the board & to whip the squad into shape in the BDSM Trophy or whatever it's called these days.

If Kennedy is true to his word then the selection should be a bit more thought out than just bunging the squad spare parts together with some youth & hoping for the best.

Hopefully McGregor & Minturn will get some time & maybe some youth from the bench. They will learn much more with some experience alongside rather than just being chucked in with other youngsters.

Increased squad depth might allow for a bolder selection than in previous years.

He’s right, it’s on the sky sports app as showing on Sky Sports + (with a selection of other games)

I'm going tonight but will be in the exeter end with a few Exeter/Torquay supporting mates of mine, interested to what team we put out.

Not sure if our glorious leader will be here tonight.

If so, a willingness to seek & take on board advice on how a well run club can survive in L1 with relative ease is an entirely different matter.

As a general rule, all of the league cup and boycott trophy games are on sky sports+ along with all midweek games and weekend games during the international break.

I think that's correct.

Exeter apparently putting out a much stronger team than normal for this game as they don't have a game on Saturday due to the international break.

Be good to see some game time for a few of the new lads and kids though.

To my small footballing mind the only ones who should be guaranteed a night off are Hall & Smith.

Everyone else from Saturday is fair game for a min 45 - 60 mins tonight but yeah the onus should be on getting some minutes into the newbies in particular.

I'd probably add Clarke who doesn't seem to be the kind of guy to manage 90 at the moment, but yeah I'm expecting a fairly strong team. It helps that we have a lot more depth to the squad this year, even if the top line quality is... to be seen.

I was thinking Clarke as well but he's not really done enough to be deemed essential as of yet, but given that he's been subbed in recent games 15 or 20 minutes from the bench might be appropriate tonight.

We'll find out in about 10 mins when Obodo & Ameen are leading the attack.
