So I'm currently watching the europa confrence league play off between Lincoln red imps and Larne and it got me thinking

Could Swindon enter the league of wales? Probably less mileage on away travel.
If we win it we get to try European football. Whoever wins this game are quids in.

Exactly , plus Welsh teams play in English league. The amount of money to be made by getting in the europa conference league is millions

For the 2022–23 season, group stage participation in the then-named Europa Conference League was awarded a base fee of €2,940,000. A victory in the group pays €500,000 and a draw €166,000. Also, each group winner earns €650,000 and each runner-up €325,000. Reaching the knock-out stage triggers additional bonuses: €300,000 for the round of 32, €600,000 for the round of 16, €1,000,000 for the quarter-finals and €2,000,000 for the semi-finals. I wonder if it might be more feasible for Wiltshire to secede from England, start its own league, affiliate with UEFA. I reckon we probably could take Chippenham or Salisbury to qualify.
