Sad news, was my favourite player in that team, so much so that my son is named after him ( Andrew, not Rowland).

RIP Andy, Andy Rowland 😢

Very sad news.  Never saw him play for Town but as a young fan in the early 1990's I remember him being a very approachable and friendly man at Open Days and always happy to chat.

Such sad news, a true great for Swindon in the true meaning of it. A great player and servant to the club. RIP Andy, loved watching you play.

And the future is certain
Give us time to work it out

Saw the heading and feared the worst.  RIP to a true STFC legend.  A real hero of mine as a young man following on from the likes of the late Dave Syrett, Peter Eastoe and so on.  You'd love to have played off him as a striker and he and Mayes were that a special combination. What an extended weekend that 8-0 v Bury and 4-3 v Arsenal was!
