I guess that the 3 released were released because they weren't willing to take a pay cut following their relegation, but they haven't found anything better so have re-signed.

Hes a very good signing at this level, we were offered him on loan when he was at Liverpool but he got injured just before agreeing a deal.

Port Vale sign CB Ben Heneghan from Fleetwood for an undisclosed fee, he used to play for Darren Moore at Sheff Weds.

Walsall have signed goalkeeper Sam Hornby from Colchester on a free he turned down Chesterfield where he had been on trial.

Franchise loan Brighton goalkeeper Tom McGill for the season.

Cheltenham have agreed a deal to sign veteran striker Ryan Bowman from Shresbury Town on a free.
