one assumes that this signing is with a view to next year. Not seen any contact length mentioned but I assume it's with at least a year's option

Harsh - he was only on for 10 minutes. His first touch/ interception almonds set up a chance. Apart from that he just had to keep the defensive shape so not much to do.
The poor mans Akinfenwa is related to his build not his performance, I should have made that clearer, he had pretty much nothing to do just ran around a bit and TBH I dont remember him making many passes at all so cant say if he set up a chance TBH but I dont remember it.

He's not as big as Akinfenwa but certainly a lot more square than your average modern footballer.

TBH no professional footballer is or probably will ever be as big as Akinfenwa, thats a man built for powerlifting not football, but what a target man he was.

Well, not muscularly anyway. Lee Trundle and Brett Pitman had a go for overall width...

Is that what we've been missing - almonds?

Just realised I hadn't voted.

Kokolo for me. He had their number 11 in his pocket and neutralised what could have been a major threat down the wing.

Elbouzedi- purely on the basis that his pace causes problems for the opposition and he’s creating chances which in turn gets the crowd going a bit.
