really. it's terrible. no pattern. both teams kick and rush. no genuine goal action.

bored

This is going to be the pattern for the rest of the season i fear, nothing really to play for, the majority of the teams we are playing the same, and with the regular swapping and changing of first 11 we are going to struggle to get into any sort of pattern of play.  It is what it is and we are where we are, the general model of this club for the season has resulted in this i feel.

Different strokes for different folks I suppose, I think we've seen a lot of games worse than this.

It is of course possible that this relative statement is not incompatible with the game not being great!

Think Elboozy could inject a bit of pace instead of McGurty, RHM too, in place of Aguiar.

Not sure that both teams are dreadful. They are of the same standard. We don’t have that urgency and running up top.

I think that McKirdy, Aguilar and McGurk are trying to play a similar sort of role. McGurk has been the quietest of the 3. But it’s perm 1 or 2 from 3 for me.

Drinan has been lively and has had both of our best opportunities. I can see Boozy putting crosses onto his head soon.

Opinion split seems to vary between where people are watching it. Those inside in the warm enjoying it, those of us cold and damp in the ground less so.

In isolation, that was OK.  It feels a bit worse because we've fallen into a situation where looking a bit better than Harrogate is deemed progress.

They look like they are sitting in and waiting to hit us on the counter - they look a bit of a threat when they do spring.  We are not set-up to counter, but also not set-up to possess.  We are looking for direct and wide balls to try and stretch them, so it becomes a bit scrappy when that isn't hitting it's mark.

We've generally seemed the more attacking team, but they probably had the best chance, where a defender just flicked the ball as it was going to their winger about 6 yard out, meaning it hit him rather than being able to tee up a finish.

It's depressing that this type of performance has become relatively acceptable for some of us while at home, against Harrogate, in the lower echelons of league 2.

I am not saying we should be up in arms or anything just pointing out how far we have fallen and how low the expectations are in general from the fanbase these days.  We really are on a downward spiral.

It's just about how far you zoom out I guess. In the context of this season, petering out into nothingness and nothing to win but the title of "not quite our shittest season ever" this is fine.

Big picture it is of course, shit, but I can't really see why anyone who can't get away from that is still watching. There's no way you could enjoy the remainder of this season if you can't detach the 90 minutes from the general malaise at the club.

It is, to quote Good Omens, not so much a fall, but a saunter vaguely downwards.

Not a great game, don’t know if it’s Harrogate frustrating us or we are just not playing well.

Apparently Glatzel & RHM are coming on at HT

It’s crazy to think that Harrogate who average under 3000 home crowds are able to compete with us on and off the pitch.
