McGurk, but a lot of honourable mentions including Glatzel and Drinan.

I haven't watched back, but didn't McCarthy lose his man twice in about 5 seconds for their first goal. I think he is much better than all the other defenders we have though. By and large he seems to know how to be in the right places, hopefully my memory of that goals is very wrong.

McGurk was a great show of a player who we could possibly all see develop well. Even more so than Glatzel. Obviously it's too early to tell but if McGurk's form continues positively then he'll be sold in the Summer Glatzel probably deserved a goal. Bycroft probably saved 2 opportunities at the death that stopped the result being an embarrassment and I think it was good to see McGirty get a goal...however, it was quite the dragged/unclean strike so no real idea Gills allowed that to go in. My choice would still have been if Town had lost but McGurk for me by quite some distance.

Nice to have a choice. Went for McGurk but Bycroft, FBT, Godwin-Malife, McEachran, Glatzel all decent.

McGurk looks like a very astute addition to the squad, but went for McEachran, a welcome return to some semblance of form.

The app I have for latest scores marks the players out of 10.
Our top 3 in the game were McCarthy, McEachran & McGurk, with McCarthy winning MOM for both teams

FBT for me,closely followed by McCarthy and Devoy. No one played poorly in my opinion and what a save by Bycroft at the death

Another game full of positive performances and no 'stinkers'. I'll give it to the Scouse Messi for his 'tekkers' including a superb goal.

McGurk by a country mile for me, made thinsg happen and has great feet and control and a superb finish too.
Big mention for Bycroft too with that save at the death and he got his finger tips to the penalty too.
