He certainly said that, but I think we have to accept Hall is an inept communicator and that's not quite what he meant.
I can accept that Hall is not qualified to the CEO of any business and likely never will be. I can also accept he is not the sort of person to put in charge of finances. Maybe he was OK at fixing bogs?

CLEM CONFIRMS HE COULDN'T DO DUE DILIGENCE ON THE CLUB
But was a non-Exec Director for years, invested previously in the club, and, as part of the 2 years he just mentioned being in court with Power, he'd be fully aware of documentary evidence bouncing back and forth about the expenses. Even Power's basic accounts DID show the club being in debt, and the Debentures were on Companies House and part of the public record.

I dont disagree, he doesn't strike me as a ceo, given those I have worked with.

So the new players are only on contracts to the end of the season with options.
"With Bycroft and Glatzel we took over their contracts. I knew this embargo might come and we were working around it. We have been creative and found different ways to sign players. We worked bloody hard on the permanent players. We have the option on them for next season." This sounds smart, but I'm not sure saying we were creative to get round a punishment will sit perfectly with the EFL...

But with no details on what that option actually covers.

This may be an unpopular opinion. When Morfuni lost it, I saw genuine passion in him. It’s the first time I thought he might care. He just hasn’t the means, or the awareness of what it means to associate with former criminals, and not comply with football league rules or really know how to make the right decisions in general. He might be a decent guy, way, way out of his depth. Karachi, for example. Now confirmed we are doing something there, having been confirmed before that we’re not. I vote incompetence, not malintent.
From watching this and reading through advisory boards/companies House etc, I would tend to agree.

Definitely some talking points.
I’m not an expert but it sounded to me like there were some very sensitive topics with regards to rules and regulations discussed that didn’t seem to be discussed as well as they could have, can someone more clued up than me shed any light on whether that’s a right assumption or not?
If so, then this stream coming out of a club official channel doesn’t seem great
