Glatzel for me but could have been one of many with FBT and Khan doing well as did Austin and RHM.

Not really any bad performers today.

Glatzel.
Industrious, a constant threat and two assists.
Only thing he didn’t do was get a goal.

McCarthy, clean sheet and Cook subbed at H.T.  Also, allowed Chas to play exclusively as a striker for a change.

Very good performance from Glatzel.
The new defenders did well too - They seem to defend and head the ball!
Devoy had a good first half
Gunning made good substitutions!

Shade did very well to come on as a sub twice.

I'll go for Glatzel but he still has along way to go. He nearly cocked up for releasing the ball to Decoy for the goal. Austin made all that possibly with a delicious ''double triangle'' or ''double Y'', lofted through ball to Glatzel  Cheesy

Jack Bycroft also made a great save from Young, which was probably at a very key moment. A moment when Town would usually concede and crumble. We can't be sure, but to me that felt like a game saving moment from Bycroft - I think we all know that Town don't do well once conceding a goal and I wouldn't have wished to watch Town hold onto a one goal lead with say fifteen mins left to play.

Other notes are McCarthy did ok. The only thing will be if both he and Glatzel can remain fit. In a larger squad, I might say yes they will but something nags at me that either one or both of them won't see out the season.

Also lets face it, and yep Town can only play who is in front of them but how wank were Bradford? Got to be one of the most imobile sides in the division - even Gladwin would have looked handy against them.

But a win is a win is a win. I'll give it to Glatzel based purely on the prospect of developing better from that benchmark?

NB: I wonder what Young will think, now that Bradford have played their hand? He's been in a side that has lost to the one he was on loan to {potentially would have signed for} AND was probably the only one who seemed like scoring, along with a couple of nice touches and hold up. Wondering if he'll now force a move {if only Town had some pennies}. What would be some turnaround is if on deadline day Town sign both Kemp and Young on perms. That would make some sense then to the recent fire sale of assets. I fear though I am living in an alternate universe and this most definitely will not happpen.

Many options today.

Picking out FBT.  He looked very assured.  And I was as re-assured about our defence as I have been all season.  Credit to Gunning for sending out defenders who looked like they knew what was required of them.
