Not watched a lot of STFC of late. Found it was ruining my weekends.
Up to the the goal, that was pretty depressing viewing, both sides looking every bit their league position.
Happily the quality did grow a bit as the half rumbled on. Good value for the lead, and RHM looking more a danger, than a Bambi doppelgänger.
Oh, and I cannot remember our pitch ever looking so awful.

Tranmere neck and neck with us in the table going into tonight Rob.
It shows. Goals aside, and a few chances later on, that would be a bit like looking directly at the sun. Tranmere have looked every bit as lacking as we are, if not a bit more. They remind me of Rochdale before they went down.

UGM is superb tonight. Devoy nowhere near as bad as some make out definitely a step above Aguiar, one shit ball but a superb ball to RHM who should have scored. It's League 2 standard obviously, not sure what people expect, but I'm entertained. We should be at least 3 goals up of course,so that's a worry as we all know what that could mean. Think McKirdy could possibly have a purple patch if he gets half an hour.

Odd change if there's no injury, the odd defence has been mostly fine.

Bloody hell. How to make a negative out of a positive
How is that negative. It's just pretty obvious, he's too good for Swindon Town AND L2. The lad would look comfortable in any L1 side. Some players just are a better class and STFC aren't immune to having a player who is too good for them...I mean we're at the dizzy fucking heights of 17th {as it stands} in the basement division. Sorry I'm not skipping through a field of corn with Sir Clemente, holding hands and sucking each others thumbs.

Dokes break with the ball, runs 40 yards and finds McGurk but his shot from 18 yards curls just wide.

More individual brilliance from McGurk. But for shaping it a little more. Deserved a goal there.

McGurk reminds me a lot of Bobby Barnes, small tricky, great skills and shot but occasionally just loses his footing.

I'll be surprised if McGurk isn't playing in a Premier League squad by the time he is 25. Nothing is guaranteed of course except {and is this negative or just realistic} he definitely won't be playing for Town - unfortunately.

On recent events it'd be a surprise if any of these players were playing for town by the time McGurk is 25.

None of these, including the subs and the youth team will be playing for town by the time he is 25
