Heard of the fella, know very little about him. However, obviously a lot more to him than I know from the comments on FB and this thread. Sad news, really sad news indeed. RIP fella.

He was ‘Johno’s’ brother right (for those who remember Johno posting on here 15 odd years ago)

38 is absolutely no age at all.
Yes that’s right. A kind and thoughtful guy who I and many others will miss greatly. I’m sure Johno and his family will be touched by all the sentiment shown online and through the applause tonight. It’s been moving too see the appreciation people had for him.

Never had the pleasure of meeting Dan but a "superfan" and insightful commentator.  A memorable and wholehearted round of applause in the 38th minute last night.  RIP.

I didn't know him, but am aware of some of his work. I wondered whether he had been a poster on here. Glad he got applause from the fans vs FGR. Thirty eight is no age at all. Very sad.
