I mean, we don't have any really good defenders anyway, so maybe this may work, just ditch them all and play a 0-7-3 or something.
Of the four listed CB's missing, only two of them are really CB's anyway. Godwin-Malife - nobody can convince me he would be a central defender in a back pairing for example. FBT is a left back, full stop. Neither of those two have the behavioural instincts required of a centre back, they both get dragged out of position and love to edge forward, or even galivant forward. So we basically started the season with two centre backs, one of which the Manager wasn't that keen on and the other who gets injured every five minutes. It's not rocket science that we end up here regularly.
