Lots of contenders. Minturn good in between one absolute horror show and a few smaller errors, Kinsella best game for Swindon and freed up Khan to play really well, Young took his chances beautifully but has to be Kemp, who is just a Rolls Royce.

For me its Young because if he didnt score twice we didnt win, but the KKK in Khan. Kemp and Kinsella good, Austin more use coming off the bench near the end than starting. Minturn looked both great and dreadful in almost equal measure at times.
Happy with that though, nobody played great but nobody played poorly really either.

When Minturn was good. He was very good but when he was bad, he was very bad. Something you’d expect from someone with his level of experience.
Austin’s contribution was minimal but vital. Nothing against Young but it’s a shame that the header or shot from Austin wasn’t the one to go in.
Khan drove well with the ball. Kinsella went unnoticed doing the donkey work.
Decent play by Shade for the cross that eventually lead to the winner.
Only players that I thought were below par today were Mahoney based mostly on not having too much to do & McEachran who just looked well off it…

Minturn, Khan, Kinsella all brilliant. Kemp was at the heart of everything going forward but have to give it Young for the brace. Austin desperately unlucky not to score but thought he was used perfectly today so props to Flynn too for changing things.

That was a very good team performance.
Khan's performance was breathtaking at time. So he just edges it for me. Kinsella enabled McEachran (and Khan) to express themselves. His best performance in red. UGM and FBT were very solid and disciplined today Minturn was VERY good but made some VERY bad mistakes. Difficult to believe he is only 19 after that performance. Kemp was absolute class again today. Young scored two goals and did very well as a target man in the second half. Tough on him not to get MotM

Kemp first half, Khan second.
My word we are going to miss Kemp and Young when they go back/move on in Jan.

I think we saw the benefit of finally not pretending Khan is a DM today. Whilst Kinsella was probably no more than a solid 7 he allowed Khan to be a 9.

Minturn for me.
Everyone put a shift in but, Minturn made some very important, ball winning challenges to really break up the Mansfield play.
Yes, I know he had a bit of a howler towards the end but, it didn't cost us.

It’s interesting reading the comments here about Minturn, we were discussing him yesterday and my son asked whether he gets treated in a kinder way because of his age and being a local lad.
He had a good game yesterday, but there were several times where he put is in trouble because of mistakes (the one late on being the worst of all). Reminded me of a Conroy performance, generally really good but you were always wary of the mistakes that were coming.
Now at 19 you would like to think with game time & experience he will learn to minimise those mistakes, but it’s clear after the last couple of games he more than deserves his place in the first team squad, although like with most young players they do need breaks.
For me, the MOM was between Kemp & Khan
