I didn’t think we were as bad in the 2nd half as some here are saying when we went forwards, but as soon as the ball is in midfield, they waltz through to a back 3 that play wide and high, and with gaps aplenty. The main issue for me remains the absence of a proper holding midfielder. One that sits, and doesn’t over commit. The defence are lambs to the slaughter without that.

We can’t simultaneously blame Flynn, whilst blaming squad depth. You could give this squad to Guardiola and he’d struggle. A decent XI when they’re fresh and confident, but they’re running on fumes, and their confidence has been knocked. Normally when that happens, some get a rest. We can’t do that. Morfuni and the shadow board have neutered Flynn’s ability to manage, and they’re quickly spending all of the post-Power capital they’d built up. If they have any sense, they’ll sell before a buyer realises that 9k crowds are not the norm. Saturday’s crowd will be telling.

Agreed on the holding midfielder 100%

"Swindon will go bust if Clem goes. Stating facts. No Clem, no Swindon."

Actually conversation I'm having with someone.

Might ask him for his bank details.

Our average attendence sits us 10th in League 1. Most significant signings this season are a defender from Forest Green Rovers and loans from other League 2 clubs. Squad is well short.

Dodgy characters all over the shop.

Swindon fan on the inside gets replaced by one of his own.

Accounting 'errors'

How many more red flags needed?

Don’t worry. All will become clear when the Trust see the books in the next fortnight.

And then Clem comes over in January to personally oversee the transfer window.

Hang in there everyone, it’s going to be okay! #RealDeal #InItForTheLongHaul #Competitive

Its gonna be alright!

New goal music for when we score to make it 7-1 down.

Don’t think our fanbase has it in them to be toxic.

Will just be people with their heads down typing toxic shit on their phone.

It could get that way.....but are most people that would get that way going to go at this point?

Is clem back for boxing day? Rumours might be on TV. Might get embarrassing and not just on the pitch.

No danger of you being in the ground either way.

Reflecting back objectively on the game, minus all of the background noise, we deserved a point at least.
Decent response after going behind & RHM has to score.
Still, result aside it's been a good day.

They just have to keep going.
Harsh to blame Flynn at this stage I feel, but it will be a challenge to turn this around.

You’re a cunt

(oh you’re right I can be toxic on my phone)

It was a generalisation; it’s not just Towns - anyone and anything in general. Now a days it’s the norm to rant and rave online about things / people and not say any of it out loud.

it was what I thought it would be. sadly.

A good effort taking the context of Saturday into account. But another big fat L and a season fast slipping away.

I don't agree we deserved anything from that, we defended too poorly. But at least we kept going.

Flynn has the absolute bare minimum at his disposal and it's going a bit Walsall. I don't blame him though.

I do genuinely worry that this season could turn from disappointing to clusterfuck very quickly.

This is where Reg would be bleating on about ‘retaining our FL status’ - and for once, I think he’d have a point!

Hugely concerned - I’ve never known such a dire position with squad depth. Couple that with the ownership issues and it’s a recipe for disaster.
