I'm sorry but that was an absolute embarrassment from Charlie Austin today.
Playing in midfield. Playing on the wing because he hasn't got the fitness to stay up front.
The only thing he's on the pitch to do is score goals. And he's missed yet another couple of golden chances today.
It's like playing with 10 men. I'm sorry but it's crap.
If he wasn't here on reputation he'd be getting absolutely slaughtered. Not good enough.
I can’t disagree. He’s a liability more often than he is a match winner

Negativity is fine, no issue.
The completely hyperbolic dramatic ‘seasons over’ & ‘we’re going no where’ & ‘Flynn is gonna leave’ after what is only our second defeat is plain moronic nonsense.
Has anyone said Flynn is going to leave? Or are you just making shit up? I'm not even sure anyone is saying the season is over. I don't mean to speak for everyone but what people DO seem to be saying and what I definitely am saying is, we will not go up unless Clem pulls his finger our and provides the rest of the squad we need to go up. Do you.... A. Genuinely think our squad depth is fine and people pointing this out are overreacting, or B. Realise there is an issue but just spaz out at the sight of negativity and go in to as funny as fucking aids comedian mode?

Fuck knows who is going to be on the pitch for us on Tuesday. Sonny Hart? Kinsella? Jaxon Brown?
Kinsella not put on today, bit surprising.

Face it, the squad is paper thin The squad is knackered because there is no depth so players are having to play less than 100% because there is no one to replace them.... Yes after 2 defeats may not seem the end of the world.. But looking at the squad there seems to be no encouraging signs it will get better... Unless free agents can be signed to re enforce ....but it seems Morfuni does not want that...

Why did he not bring on Kinsella for the awful McEachran today?

surely playing on the wing is harder than staying up top? Anyway wondering if he has the football equivalent of the yips now! I bloody love him but I can't get over that first miss after a series of half decent chances not buried over the season. Thing is I do think he's contributing in games. Plus it's not like we've got options. RHM was piss poor too imo. let's hope young can find the midas touch again soon Flynn not resting Austin on Tuesday was a mistake imo. though Young's illness kind of forced it

And fitness wise it doesn't help with Charlie that we have not been managing his minutes lately and having him play close to 90 every game.
Although I realise Young has been unwell, this goes back to again our very painfully fucking obviously shoestring budget squad that crumbles as soon as there is one issue in a position.

Funny how we all see games differently I thought McEachran was one of only 2 decent performers today and head and shoulders over Khan and Kemp in the middle.

I see your points but the results have been good. If the downward trend continues - then yes, cause for concern. October always looked like a very hard month for us. Right now, win our game in hand we are third. I really don’t think we need to be at panic stations just yet.

Awful,............. pick any one from five. That was some pathetic second half, especially all the hospital passes.

We don't.....if we sign some fucking players. We put a 16 year old on the bench today and still couldn't fill the cunting thing. Its dire.

Clearly Flynn thought we needed another couple in, hence the two free agents training with us. I get that he doesn’t want to sign just anyone, but we clearly are struggling with depth in the squad.
Ironically we said on Tuesday night that Notts County had just what we needed, the big centre half, a Bostock type in midfield (physical & experienced) and a McGoldrick up front.
Today’s game/result hasn’t done anything to change my mind

So Flynn’s gone from the wanting 3 in at the end of the transfer window (brought in 0, sold 1) to wanting 2 free agents quickly after the window shut to now having to be unable to name a full bench and having to bring on 16 year old kids?
I admire his ability to be so diplomatic with the squad depth interview questions because I wouldn’t have the restraint to not call it what it is like peak Jody Morris

Clem took the Wakeling money and Rushian Hepburn-Murphy is only a bit part player later on in games. With Austin’s legs seemingly gone the onus is on Kemp & Young who could both be gone in January and that’s on top of needing a left wing back, holding midfielder and another centre half!
