We've been by far the better side I would say, but they've had their chances too. Bit harsh on us 1-1, but they've created their chances.

I can't even say we look our usual bad self in defense because its mostly been genuine created chances by them and they don't look a bad side.

We do have a tendency to take our foot off the gas about 30 mins in though.

I agree, they dont look that good we are just a bit weak still defensively. I think we are "mostly" controlling the game still and we have 65% possession so far.

They are dangerous on the counter attack though.

I think we’ve been pants. Awfully slow and just walking with the ball waiting for Morecambe to open up and let us pass through them.

They’ve been industrious off the ball and used the ball a lot more effectively than we have.

Yep, think Morecambe have been a lot better than you’re giving them credit for.

Kemp shoots but its way to close to the keeper, easy save.

Decent game, Morecambe look an organised side without the top level quality we have in Kemp/Young/Austin. Can go a long way on organisation though, look at Stevenage last season or us under Sturrock.

They look like the first team that have actually watched us play and come up with a game plan of how to nullify us…
