So long as the result isn't the same, can't take watching a repeat of that game again 😭

We sat in the expensive seats so it cost me a fortune as well. Poor little bugger was scarfed up with one of those ridiculous red and white hats and I bought him a horn too. Fucking shambles.

I flew in from a stag do in Eastern Europe that morning. Felt like death. Absolutely horrible day. Zero redeeming features. Atmosphere like a morgue from minute one.

Yes, that was it. Horrendous, expensive, with all hope evaporating after about 3 minutes.

I missed the first 15-20 minutes or so as I was in a pub on the Cork/Waterford border and arrived late and the barman took forever to find whatever channel it was on. So for me we only lost that game 2-0 .

Unless there was another fight, that one ended with my mate twisting up one of the guys trying to fight. It was a fight over people not sitting down, but it did sound like the standers we're being lairy cunts.

I had a power cut in 40C heat and had to ring home for the score, before trying to have a very sweaty night's sleep. Better than being at the game though  Soapy Tit Wank

Can anyone assist me in getting a cheap ticket for the game? I love taking my boy, and he loves going, but the £30 is just too much. Throw in a hot chocolate and a bag of crisps, with bus as wl, it's well over £40. That is a lot of money that I cannot justify unfortunately. That is a few days food shopping.

Do you know anyone that works for Nationwide? I assume they’re still getting cheap tickets?

No I don't unfortunately.

It's unlikely but I wonder if any season ticket holders can't make the match...it is the summer hols so often it impacts things like footy attendances. Maybe someone can be a hero and allow use of it. You could then repay them back in kind {and no, I don't mean a blowjob} or offer your time to them.

I'm a big advocate of exchange skills/favours/etc. I think it makes us stronger as a collective rather than just exchanging cash all the time. Plus, it also can build new openings, friendships, networking and more. An exchange of cash only promises to pay the bearer but an exchange of time can bring so much more.

Hope someone can help you out Sippo. Maybe reach out to the club and explain your predicament - although I'm aware many people will say watching football is a privelege etc. However, at least you're definitely genuine...unlike definitely not Sport JOE  Roll Eyes
