Little fella who nearly signed for us and then scored a screamer?
That's him. Don't think he pulled up too many trees up at the Crown Oil Arena.

Presumably a first in terms of Feyenoord and Crawley on the CV together.

So true, although Crawley do have a damn rotter in charge to be fair.

Just Accrington, Swindon, Wrexham and Salford left to do business now.

The fact that we're included in a list with moneybags Wrexham and Salford doesn't concern me too much. Plenty of time - got to make sure the recruitment is right unlike last season.

I think if you look at recent seasons we do tend not to do business until later. At someone else said, I am sure the legs of the swan are paddling furiously underwater and we'll get to see said swan motoring around the transfer pond within a few weeks. (sorry for the quite awful analogy)

Funny isn’t it, as if you asked most of our fans who are their favourites to go up, they’d say Wrexham. We are guaranteed a relegation battle though as we’ve not signed anyone yet.

Shhh, don't mention the W word. Everyone is sick of them but seem to go on about them quite a lot in other threads. We already have a squad of 18 players on the books I think. Clearly we need to put together a solid spine of a team however. 5 or 6 in the door over the next 2-3 weeks would be a good statement of intent. Transfer leaks at STFC have definitely dried up since SDM has left for sure.

So today is actually the anniversary of our first first team signings of *last* summer - Brynn and Shade. At that point, we'd only had a permanent manager for three days! We did have home and away kits though.
Summer signing dates last year for context: (date of the scarf over head article on the official site, not rumours)
September 1st: Morgan Roberts, Luke Jephcott, Conor Brann, RHM, Marcel Lavinier August 10th: FBT July 18th: Angus MacDonald July 15th: Tomi Adeloye, Remeao Hutton, Saidou Khan July 13th: Ronan Darcy July 12th: Tom Clayton July 5th: Jacob Wakeling July 1st: Ciaran Brennan June 28th: Cian Harries June 24th: Reece Devine June 23rd: Tyrese Shade, Sol Brynn June 22nd: Oscar Massey June 20th: Scott Lindsey appointed manager

Flynn has only been in the job about 3 days. He signed on the last day of last season and only came back from holday a couple of days ago the rest he was on holiday

Exactly, the other day there were about 4 threads that despite having fuck all to do with Wrexham had been brought round to whinges about Wrexham, its less that they love publicity and more that fans of other clubs seem to be obsessed with them. Flynn has only been in the job about 3 days. He signed on the last day of last season and only came back from holday a couple of days ago the rest he was on holiday I was going to say 'the lazy fecker', but then again I suppose they have to take their leave all in one go, not like he can have a week off in autumn half term with the kids!

I can't help but misquote the famous the Cameron line to Blair in 2007 or so - We were the circus once! Having been the media's favourite club for a few years makes it harder to watch it be someone else I suppose.
