So referring to the first post again for total transfer numbers across all the sides in the division:

Accrington: 1 permanent, 3 loans
AFC Wimbledon: 7 permanent, 2 loans
Barrow: 10 permanent
Bradford: 5 permanent, 1 loan
Colchester: 6 permanent, 3 loans
Crawley: 9 permanent, 2 loans
Crewe: 4 permanent, 1 loan
Doncaster: 7 permanent, 2 loans
FGR: 5 permanent, 1 loan
Gills: 6 permanent
Grimsby: 9 permanent, 1 loan
Harrogate: 8 permanent
Mansfield: 6 permanent
Franchise: 6 permanent
Morecambe: 9 permanent, 3 loans
Newport: 8 permanent, 2 loans
Notts Co: 5 permanent, 1 loan
Salford: 7 permanent, 1 loan
Stockport: 12 permanent, 1 loan
Sutton: 9 permanent, 1 loan
Swindon: 1 permanent, 3 loans
Tranmere: 6 permanent, 1 loan
Walsall: 9 permanent, 1 loan
Wrexham: 1 permanent

6.5 permanent signings per club on average. It's not great evidence for the market being completely unnavigable for clubs at our level, is it?

We continue to have the joint smallest squad (with Morecambe) and second youngest (after Crewe) According to transfermarkt

There have been so far a lot less loan deals than usual at this stage I would say, with us, Morecambe, Colchester and Accrington the biggest loaners on 3 each Smiley

Argh sorry didn't realise you were maintaining. Would you mind editing that into the first post or linking to the post from the first one? Not in the habit of checking page 32!

I post a brand new one every few days but have been out all day Smiley but I do update the latest one each time with date and time.

It doesnt hurt to have a few extra posts as long as I count them up correctly this time!

TBH I was being lazy and not wanting to duplicate posts much.

Wrexham only signing 1 player is strange, there is no way that current squad is good enough to walk this league as their fans are expecting.

Yes I think they are finding it far more difficult to attract good players, but they did have a huge squad coming into this season still.

Another side in non league splashing cash that'll be 'inflating the market' in League Two in a year or two then.
Not sure where the Oldham cash is coming from, their owner ain't short of a robert or two but he is much more in the Clem league v. The wrexham league of wealthy ness.

James Norwood leaving Barnsley and dropping two divisions into non-league with Oldham is pretty insane.

Believe Barnsley wanted to keep and Wrexham were also at the table.

Wrexham revealed they earned 1m for promotion - I presume it's a gamble.

from an Oldham fan:

Some shrewd deals with sale of players with add ons, thriving hospitality, on site gym with over 2000 members, new kit sponsor, 4000 season ticket holders and more  ground now owned by the club effectively, the club has seen a massive turnaround since Frank bought it

I think the new pitch shows they're moving in the right direction
