Yeah I really don’t like the Allez Allez Allez oh chant. Not quite sure why but never been a fan.
…because it’s slow, dull, boring, shit & almost completely inaudible

That’s probably why. It’s driving all the good chants out too. Analogous to the grey squirrel leading to the extinction of the red counterpart!

I think it's more just because about nearly every club sings ''their'' version of it. Lacks originality. I don't mind the long chant of: Give us an Ehhh-essss {S} Wubble-you {W} Iy-e {I} Eh-en {N} Dee-ee {D} Ow-oh {O} Eh-en {N} - Sah-win-don - Sah-win-don https://www.fanchants.com/football-songs/swindon_town-chants/s-w-i-n-d-o-n/Obviously it lacks any real creativity but then usually the simplest chants are the best and I haven't heard many other clubs do the spelling chant like that - although I'm sure Town aren't unique with that one

I mean if we have to constantly remind people we’re from the West Country - I’d rather it was because we ‘fight, fight, where ever we may be’

One man went to war, went to war with Oxford. One man and his baseball bat - splat. Went to war with Oxford …can’t remember the last time I heard that one? Like 2001?!

Oh don't get me wrong, I hate the ''Allez Allez Allez Ohhh'' chant. Heard at nearly every fucking televised FA Cup match. I think the trouble is, if someone comes up with something original, it either gets knocked back because people don't like change or something different...or it is a bit shit. Unfortunately, even if it were good - it would still end up getting drowned out by the ''Wanky, Wanky, Wanky Woooooooooo'' aka ''Allez, Allez, Allez Ohhh'' chant.

JJ Moons 2010 was like a Greatest Hits compilation in there. Hours of classics being brought back.
The Globe at Baker Street in 2015 before Preston a similar thing was tried but most of the people just had confused looks on their faces.

Solution: bring back the classics.

waaaaaaaaasanker, wanker John..
Speaking of simple chants which could come back... I bloody loved Tommy Mooney, but hated his Oxford defection.
I know it's just a job to them, but defections like that sting. Especially if they're in the division below (which they were) and they still somehow poach one of our better players. His last act for us was missing a penalty in the playoff shootout as well, wasn't it? Waaaaaaaaaanker, wanker Tom...

Barry Endean for those of an older ilk - should have won the league as well as the cup that season. Paul Bradshaw took Alan Mayes right out in that game.
