Arsenal for me always had a soft spot for them since the League Cup Quarter Final in 1979 plus loved going to the old Highbury stadium.

Arsenal have really hit the skids whereas City have hit their straps. There was a chasm between the 2 sides and if it hadn't been for Ramsdale, it could have easily been 6 or 7.

I do too. I've loved the way they play ever since the start of the Wenger era. What a bunch of bottling cunts though. Absolutely thrown it away...

I love watching Dortmund in the Bundesliga too but they're just a German version of Arsenal...bottlers

Didn't get to see it as was really late back last night after a major train fuck up.

Would have wanted Arsenal to win*, just for a change really, likewise would probably want City to win the CL just so that stops being a thing.

Been watching quite a bit of football where I don't have a dog in the fight this seasons, quite enjoyed it.

* Although this is balanced with the sheer joy of the Arsenal fan meltdowns on SM last night.

One assumes the bubble will pop at some stage, this makes quite amusing reading in terms of how many clubs have spuffed a fortune to achieve feck all. https://www.football365.com/news/transfers-premier-league-five-year-net-spend-man-utd-man-city

I'd have quite liked Arsenal to win the league this year as nobody would have given them a chance before, and they wouldn't have done it through obscene spending. Oh well.

It's easy to say Arsenal have bottled it, but they're still in the top 4 for results since Christmas so it's not like the wheels have fallen off. Meanwhile City have picked up 2.5 PPG which is huge. If you look at the two sides I'm not sure there's a single City player where you'd swap them for their Arsenal counterpart. They're just a much better side and over the course of the season it's shown.

Ramsdale or Pickford for England number 1?

I'd pick the Ram'.
