Curious to see if Kanu gets any runouts when play offs are mathematically gone. Heard a half tongue in cheek conspiracy theory (on one of the podcasts, can’t remember which) about his involvement being linked to meeting requirements that would ensure a larger transfer fee if he was to move onto a big club and heard he’s a promising player so a move may not out of the bounds of possibility.
Not sure if I completely believe there’s that much to it myself but interesting to see if it happens. Who was the other supposedly promising one that one of the recruitment team mentioned we’d struggle to hold onto? Was it Hart?
