Tomlinson is not a centre back, why is he playing there. Why is Wakeling playing wing back? Hes a liability there. This whole line up is puzzling.

It does feel a bit like Morris picks a formation and then shoves the players into it, rather than picking a formation that suits the squad. Maybe that's fine in the context of this season, but suggests that we'll need to do a fair bit of recruitment in the summer to give him the players he actually wants.

Lindsey was criticised by me for doing exactly this early season. Pick a formation to suit the available players not the other way when players are of limited ability and experience as we are especially so. |

I guess the key difference is that Lindsey had the squad he wanted (at least in theory), Morris inherited one. |
