Hello all.

I have emailed the club about information on my son being a mascot, but they are taking an age to get back to me.

Does anyone know how long advance in needs booking?

My kids done it a couple of years ago. I booked it in about 3 months in advance as it was part of a Christmas present. It all depends on success on the pitch, they become more popular in the warmer months and towards the end of the season if we're doing well.
Make sure you get everything you paid for as my kids missed out on so much and they blamed it on covid etc. Also didnt receive any of the pictures via email they promise. Good experience but somewhat lacking in quality, you get what you pay for I suppose.

Conversely, and I'm going way back to when Austin was here first time and a few years after, the mascot package was brilliant when my sons did it.

skiptotheLouMacari, that sounds extremely shoddy. Gutted for your kids and you.

As said, it depends who has booked already- I've seen mascot packages being advertised the week of a game! But its a pity the club haven't got back to you Sippo.

There was a named individual in the AB notes who was used a few times for Corporate/Commercial stuff, I'd tap them up rather than a generic inbox.

My kid was mascot against Harrogate, he loved it. They're back up doing things properly post-covid, met the manager, went down and met the players in the changing room, training session on the pitch etc etc. All good now.

Put the prices up considerably on the Corporate packages.
No doubt will lose business for individual fans, however pitching to businesses.

Good luck but a few of our party won’t be taking up the new offer.

£250 in my opinion at this level not good.

That is a huge jump, I know they want to make money but it's almost pricing the family out of doing for a birthday / christmas gift for their child(ren)

Sounds a bit of a missed opportunity pricing it so high.

Not if they sell them all - the corporate seats have largely been sold out, bar the odd one or two here and there, for the past two seasons.  I'd imagine the Mascot as well, so they've likely had a rethink on pricing, which is fair enough if demand is outstripping supply.  They have done a good job in the Corporate area under the new gang, mostly due to Danny Lee, now of the EFL.
