BOLLOX, I'd just written a massive post about why we will get better but for some reason IE decided to close thetownend down and open up about 20 pages of google, WHY!!!
Anyway, in essence the England test team will get better because our no. 3 batsman must be improved upon (whether that means Bell gets better, or someone else comes in I'm not sure), 171 runs in 10 innings simply is not good enough.
Freddy has proved himself to be TRULY world class.
KP has done fantastically well, and like others is a newcomer to test cricket, they will get even better.
The England cricket team, unlike the England rugby team, has achieved this on the up, not at it's pinacle, while the Aussies must replace two of the greatest cricketers of all time in McGrath and Warne.
Harmy and Hoggard will look back and will want to improve on their figures - if Harmy can get back to his world no. 1 figures of 18 runs per test wicket then we will be imense.
Vaughan will be wanting to imrove his figures too - again very recently, like Harmison he was the best in the world at what he does.
This series sees the start of a new empire in world cricket, and I for one am loving it!

The Ashes are in that little tiny trophy!
In cricketing terms it is about as big as winning the football world cup, nothing else comes close to this.
