I noticed that there was some 'BEEF' between the Franchise and Bristol Rovers admins around ticket allocation disagreements. The Bristol Rovers admin said that opponents had to give 6 weeks notice for their ticket allocation desire. I am not sure if this is an actual league ruling or just something the club have in place. If it is a league ruling then that could help explain why the game hasn't been played any earlier. Either way, it puts a potentially huge game on under the lights during the run in.

Going back to tickets, I mean Stevenage aren't going to need the bank anyway so ticketing issues for that game should in theory be quite simple, although that said if we go on a huge run, the demand for our fans could be such that we may now need to think about opening the bank as we did towards the end of last season.

I wouldn't discount them wanting the bank if its close to gaining promotion as they've suddenly found a couple of thousand glory hunters away at Villa & Stoke in the FA Cup recently.

Depends how the next few results go really. If we're doing well then absolutely just give them the bank.

Although aren't cup rules and league rules different?

Yes they are different and have to supply a certain amount of seats covered.

Bollocks, just give em the normal seats only. Didn't we get a restricted number of tickets last time around?

I left 6 when I moved down the coast, they're resourceful, they just rocked up at a house down the street.

Not sure that the term glory hunters can be thrown at anyone supporting a lower league team

But they had only sold 60 tickets leading up to the game with us

Probably the same for most teams though in that scenario, we would probably sell x10 even times x20 as many tickets for Villa away as opposed to Stevenage away on a Tuesday night.

I know that’s not 60 v 2000 odd but it would have been odd if they only took 500 to Villa, they would be ridiculed for it

I doubt we would take 10,000 to Villa
