We're half way through the league season (before Northampton), with 28 games played including five in various cup embarrassments, so I thought I’d take a look at where we were with the TEF’s MoM votes.

Top Five vote getters:

Ben Gladwin - 160
Sol Brynn - 131
Jonny Williams - 147
Jacob Wakeling - 128
Remeao Hutton - 121

1237 votes overall, for 31 different players

Most MoMs:

4 - Jonny Williams, Frazer Blake-Tracy
3 - Saidou Khan, Jacob Wakeling, Sol Brynn
2 - Ben Gladwin, Remeao Hutton, Marcel Lavinier
1 - Rushian Hepburn-Murphy, Cian Harries, Tom Clayton

Top five performances: (by %, but min. 20 votes for winner to be included)

Sol Brynn v Leyton Orient - 45 votes, 78% of votes cast
Remeao Hutton v Tranmere - 30 votes, 68%
Sol Brynn v Salford - 40 votes, 66%
Frazer Blake-Tracy v Walsall - 28 votes, 62%
Jonny Williams v Mansfield - 42 votes, 61%

Five lowest votes per game: (min 5 apps)

Mathieu Baudry - 0.54 votes per game (13 apps)
Ricky Aguiar - 0.54 votes per game (13 apps)
Tomi Adeloye - 0.55 votes per game (11 apps)
Luke Jephcott - 0.60 votes per game (15 apps)
Angus MacDonald - 0.69 votes per game (13 apps)

Other Notes
  • Sol Brynn led the first quarter of the season comfortably, but has only added 18 votes in the last 12 league games
  • FBT has taken three of the last four man of the match votes, and received more than half his total votes in those four games (64 votes out of 104)
  • Ciaran Brennan has made 14 appearances, but more than ⅔ of his overall votes came in the game vs Bradford

Interesting stats thank you Nemo for all the work you put into these polls.

Kinda confirms the players that are important to and who look good enough for the firat team, the usual suspects seem to crop up often at or near the top of the voting.

It is telling that FBT gets such high votes - he really is just a competent left back for this level (something we have often struggled to obtain mind you).  He has been a consistent performer, but he is not playing like a player leading a promotion hunt.  He is a Rob Hunt type of player.

Very surprised at Gladwin. Brynn being up there was obvious. Constantly saving us.
