Quickie, hopefully, for the tech heads.

I have got a DVD of our young 'uns pantomime appearance (she was brill!) whcih is all well and good, problem being we don't actually have a DVD player any more.

The only thing I have with a DVD drive is an old and pretty rickety lap top with a knackered screen albeit it will fire up, is there a (free) way I can copy the DVD onto the laptop because then I can plug that into the external back up drive I have, copy it onto that and then copy it onto new laptops tablets etc?

Ta in advance

Handbrake should do the job.
