I didn’t know this was happening. Presumably a sort of second string behind closed doors friendly? Also a chance to give returning players some minutes.

Hes been training with them for over a year now but they can't afford his wages apparently but allow him to play in development/reserve games to gain fitness.

Baudry off injured already in that game and the mighty Adeloye has scored for us, currently 1-1.

Quote
23' Goal Swindon. Tomi Adeloye. 0-1.

Swindon's forward scores a diving header from close range after a ball in from the right.

Quote
38' GOAL NEWPORT!

Lavinier knocks a Willmott cross from the right into his own net. 1-1!

Could we afford his wages, another one of those players who is not as old as you think he is (only about 6 months older than Austin)?

Albeit looking at it he signed for Nijmegen in January this year and he managed 1 game before getting injured, so perhaps not....

Hopefully a useful exercise. I would hope that MacDonald is nearing match fitness. Does anyone know anything about how long Clayton is expected to be out for?

It was described as a diving header, there is every chance he fell over.
