I have heard more of an atmosphere at a midweek reserve game vs Bournemouth in the 1980s.

Oh yeah the atmosphere absolutely is preseason level. Game needs something to happen really, bit of a flashpoint.

Play on the pitch dictates atmosphere. It’s why our home games are as dull as dishwater. For fuck’s sake, up the fucking tempo.

There are two mediocre teams prodding at each other with little control or skill.
Wakeling amd Jephcott are trying to play the same position. They keep ending up in the same space.
Midfield has no legs.
No obvious plans, overloads, anything. Just pass it about a bit, maybe see if Huttton can find space, that's it.
Crawley no better.
Iandolo is being outplayed in an attacking sense by Blake-Tracey, who is playing centre back.

FBT is wasted as a leftsided centreback. If we're dead set on playing the back 5 as they are in this formation, I think there's a net positive if he was LWB and Iandolo played left CB.

This is quite a shock to the system after watching the World Cup every day - less League 2, more like two pub sides slogging it out on a Sunday morning. Reid needs to come off for Darcy If ifollow don't speed up their fucking replays it's only a matter of time before they miss a goal
