Crawley have a 'champions of Sussex' flag which seems to be stretching the definition even by the usual standards of football team claims.

At least we can say we are "champions of Wiltshire"....well sorta! Brighton may have something to say about Sussex.

Decent delivery by Reed from the free kick but no Town player is attacking it in the box.

Lovely dribble and run by Wakeling but his finish is awful at the end of it.

Crawleys' CBs are stuggling with Jephcott and Wakeling so far, but we arent capitalising on it.

Story of our season, and much of last season too. Too many sideways or backwards passes.

Why have a shot when you can keep possession.

Hawes yawning is a pretty solid summary. It's been fine, it's not been anything else. It feels a bit like that last preseason friendly before the season starts, some nice play but no real drive to make anything happen.
