aside: when you became a governer did that also mean you became a director too?

the u16 thing, is that the same at other clubs?

standing. I guess it's not a club decision

But what piss me off is only the 4 people who stand at the back row of the DRS that get steward attention.

yeah it's a bit steeper than the arkells, not that much.

also, if you are going to get all anal then look at half time when people just stand in the stairway gassing

I wonder if the club sold season tickets to under 16’s without the need for an adult to purchase an accompanying seat..a bit shit if so.

Good question, if so the club are selling something that can’t be used, that would open a can of worms

When my wife became a school governer she also was made a director of the school. As are all the governers

I wondered if that was a standard thing

nobody had mentioned it to her so the first she found out was a letter from companies House!

had a very quick look around and unaccompanied ages seem to vary between cubs from 13-16

it would be bad form to sell the season tickets without making this policy obvious at the time

edit:

it's here from March 22

Please note due to new EFL safeguarding, all under 16s must be accompanied by an adult when entering the stadium and should be sat in the family stand (D1 - D2) or Arkells F2U or A3U. Please see www.swindontownfc.co.uk or the signs around the stadium for more details.

From memory when I could get the bus to Swindon in early teens, if I was ever desperate to go and had no one available I used to have to ask an adult to buy me a ticket

I'm sure it says it (or used to) on the pricing walls about ticket sales booths. Accompanied Juniors.

We are talking 20+ years ago though

Ah gotcha.

Our school doesn't have directors, just a board of governors, is the one your wife's involved in an academy or something, we are just a small CofE primary.

When I was Governor of my lads secondary school (an Academy) I was also a director, with his primary school I wasn't as it was not an academy. Think its standard with Academies
