Any coincidence we’ve improved since McKirdy left. Seems a bit perverse but . . .

Always hard to tell as so much changes, formation, individual player form. If McKirdy was unpopular then I suspect that would be the prevailing narrative. FWIW I suspect the last 3 games would have yielded the same result with him still here as well.

Lots of chat in the Loathed Stranger presser about their set piece threat. Developing some confidence in our defence now. Hopefully we deal with “direct” threat well today.
