We should have been out of sight, but just weren’t quite sharp enough around their box, which made that very uncomfortable viewing. We seem to be managing to grind out one or two results in the last few weeks. Long may it last.  COYR

I thought Odimayo was very good today. Especially given he was playing on the left rather than the right.

Baudry and Conroy were also good.

Ward could have maybe done better with their goal
Egbo was lethargic
Williams influence was limited in the second half
Payne had a good first half but was tiring in the second
Reed was Reed
Davison tried hard, was a handful outside of the box. In the box, he should have scored a couple more
McKirdy was off colour. Missed plenty!
Barry was offside too much and crossing was poor.

Gone for Baudry. Who knew our whole season depended on his fitness & him being our only reliable centre back! Injected some much needed leadership back there.

Could easily pick one from each position for the shortlist.

Ward really has stepped up even with all the pressure applied by his own defenders (stop passing it to his left foot). Massive credit to him. Not bad for a No.2

Baudry has been like a man possessed. He's playing the Libero role the way only Conroy can dream of at present. Same today, the way he came out of defence at times with composure was great. Really did a great job and special mention to Odimayo. Whenever asked (much like Ward) he's done his job and professionally so. Him and Egbo playing some cracking balls today.

Reed, well obviously he was still very "sideways" but I still think that is via instruction. Amazing composure to half sidestep and half an extra touch and body faint, opens up space, perfectly placed winner. If KDB does that, pundits everywhere are jizzing themselves. Good job we had the fantastic Hawes to jizz himself over that one. I think my tip was pretty wet when I saw him hit that one. You just knew it was going in. Special mention to Williams who did all the right things, as did Payne and Egbo has already had a mention.

Davison, caused so many problems and opened up more space between the channels for the advancing midfielders and both McGirty & Barry to get into. They could cope with Town pace and constant pressing. You felt though it was going to be one of those "Davison Days" where he missed some point blank sitters. A slow burner but the lad could/should have had a hattrick today. His goal, unglamourous as it was, is the kind of goal you want from a poacher. Scrabbly little goal from a couple of yards out. Although I think the GK for them could have done better. This is L2 though and it's easy punish teams if you show half a second quicker brain or just shot a couple of yards either side of a keeper.

Don't think Watermelon Sugar High (McGirty) had his best game neither did Barry. They both seemed ring rusty on the first touch at times. Although HM did do his part in boosting morale for the crowd who also could have been better. It's not quite at the PdC kind of levels. Filled with a nervous energy that is understandable. Need to override that and keep the vocals going as when the Town do make a noise, it's immense. I'll say it again, the players will love playing with the Bank having fans on it.

MoM for me, I'm torn there because obviously Reed's goal keeps us in the POs and naturally would be the obvious choice but even drawing today still see's Town going into the last game with something to play for. Williams has such a good footballing brain if only he could stay fit full time, that physical combination would mean he would not be a Town player and he would be Championship level. I think for me and I never thought I would be saying this once we had JOB and Cooper in but my MoM, who cut out so much stuff today, coming out of defence with composure and allowed more midfield advancement today, which clearly made a difference... is Baudry!

Could be almost anyone for me.

Ward mistake for the goal but otherwise good 7
AK didnt really put a foot wrong 8
Baudry an almost impeccable game 9
Conroy rarely put a foot wrong 8
Egbo ran a lot but didn't attack as much as he should 7
Reed absolutely brilliant 10
Payne absolutely brilliant but didnt score 9
Williams absolutely brilliant but didnt score 9
Barry some amazing stuff and some not so amazing 7
McKirdy not his best game but contributed well 7
Davison scored a goal but missed a sitter, ran around like a mad man at times 8

The subs played their part too.

So Reed edges it for me due to his goal.

He was very good. Some of those crossfield passes he played were lovely
