Barry miles offside and not flagged. Do we have a dodgy lino?
CB on other side of pitch played him on side

Could have had a hattrick by now
Push him wide left to cut inside and get Egbo on down the right for the innefective Payne 2nd half.

What a great turn by Barry but his cross is too deep.

I love Davisons enthusiasm but his 1st touch has been dire at times.

HT 0-0

We started slowly but grew into the game, had the better of the chances though.

Baudry is a mistake waiting to happen, Newport need to apply pressure on him as he has a mistake in him.

Barry having a good game and looks good going forward.

Davidson first touch today is gash. A fully fit Brett Pitman would thrive in this side.

Cagey one this.
We've had the better of it overall.

Who is prepared to take that extra risk in the 2nd half.

Are you joking about Barry? Bar the odd bit of skill he’s been hopeless.

We are a nearly team, which is the story of this season I guess.

As an example of where we are just off being good was the Williams header near the end of that half.  The header was fine and the build up was good, but our sole central striker had somehow got himself into a position 3 yards behind the back post.  He is the man that should be sniffing for that chance.

Overall a decent performance but the central defensive system is non existent.  Think it was one of their central defenders who just ran straight and got to our box early in the half.  If Barry could shoot or Davison could figure out how to use his feet amd stay central, we'd be quite good going forward.

I thought he has been our best player. Couple of poor shots granted but he’s making things happen going forward.
