No doubts McKirdy will be a big loss but there's no guarantee he wouldn't have got sent off in one of the games and we would still have to cope without him for up to 3 games.

Does "out for the season" include play offs I wonder?

4 to 6 weeks with these.
Tomlinson and Barry fairly quick recoveries thus fingers crossed.

What a strange post… considering he hasn’t been sent off at all during his whole career?

God help us if we have to rely on JML

Don't like the JML abuse. How many consecutive games has he started this season? has also won us some valuable points this season

Not sure hes getting much abuse hes just really not very good, I don't honestly remember him winning us any point? I may have forgotten but I only I don't remember him contributing anything other than the win at Plymouth in the Mickey Mouse Cup.

I may have genuinely forgotten any contribution to us winning points but I truly don't remember, just that his point blank misses have (possibly) cost us winning games.

I think he offers something. He’s very quick and good against tired defenders and also quite tricky. His final ball is very poor so he would benefit from some coaching to address this.

Definatelyy as I mentioned a while back.

Absolutely, my main issue with JML is his finishing, he gets in great positions and slices or weakly hits shot or just plain misses theball, if he could improve that side of his game he will be a good player, as it stands hes probably at his level, fringe L2 player. JML is the closest match for McKirdy for directness, Gilbert is a ditherer around the box and indecisive so far.

My main concern about JML starting is that it undermines his attempt to be our most used substitute ever in one season - he's come on 23 times already, tied with Lukas Jutkiewicz in 2006/7. Without a sudden spate of starts, he might well get to 30!

Not the biggest JML fan, he's not had a huge crack o the whip tbf to him. Think he came on and won us a pen vs stevenage and harrogate and by all accounts did well in his start vs oldham..Barry for mckirdy straight swap would still see him on the bench for now imo.

Cheers I had forgotten the 2 penalty wins he had a hand in that did indeed claim us 2 points earning late draws in both games.
