I bet you are, 3 train stations and a bus station Nothing compares to the delights offered by Swindon's public transport facilities.

I read there's a strike starting 11th March, the day before the Oldham game I use the buses on matchdays.

Not sure if fit tomorrow. Going to need a few back with the run of fixtures we have coming up.

Pre match Курва Путін in an imaginatively named pub somewhere in Leeds Station. Need to fuel before heading off to the deceptive pleasantness of Lids sister city. Always like a bit of faded Victorian grandeur.
Seventh visit here, first one in 1989. 7 or 8 of their matchday 13 went into management, less so from our team. However we did have Tony Galvin playing that day, worthy of comparison with our Harry, less svelte, possibly more scholarly but equally as scruffy.
Fear of the new manager bounce today but hoping they'll be Hughesless. Doubles against are to be avoided in football, ok in a pub though. So 4 point from the next two games would be a very good return. A meeting of the 2 best supported teams in the division today & arguably the 2 biggest clubs. A comment that the much missed Reg would probably have poured cold water on. Still, it's a fixture that could well be repeated next season.
Just hoping for a decent game & an enjoyable respite for everyone from the difficulties of making ends meet & the horror unfolding in the East.

This is my fear too. He was the manager last week but hadn't had time to change the team to how he wanted them to play, hes had a full week in charge now so expect different to the 2-0 home defeat they suffered vs Mansfield last week.

A very kind lady just donated an untouched pint of Thatchers. Never one to say no, so departure to Bradford will be delayed. Who said Yorkshire folk were tight. It remains to be seen if the pint included an acid tab. Turn on, tune in, drop out.

If it does have a tab in, please start your own match day thread for the game, as that would be an very interesting read.

There are indeed a few town that do amazing curries and Bradford is one, alongside Southall, Birmingham, the curry mile in Rusholme in Manchester and Brick Lane in the East End.
Enjoy!
