From the Bradford forum....
Quote
McKirdy might be a total tool, but in the last five minutes you could clearly see he wanted the win more than any other player on the pitch. He still looked fresh and still had pace, and kind of ran us down.

I'm just appreciative of seeing a damn good game of football where we played possession football, restricting a good footballing side of the ball.

They played the cynical game better than us. We were totally on top with them giving the ball away and suddenly their RB gets cramp, flaps around for five minutes for the team, momentum stopped.
And then there was the guy who took Cook out.
We're simply not streetwise

Can't yet work out how their player got booked for handball in penalty area but no penalty...?

Definitely not handball, even though I screamed for one like all the kop.

Really enjoyed the match today, plenty of entertainment for a change despite the result.

Swindon were 8th, weren't good but they have talent in McKirdy who they only need to give one chance.

Result obviously a kick in the balls because Swindon deserved nothing from the game

We played pretty well and were unlucky to lose.

Over all excellent performance and the display from the lads was miles better than anything under useless Adams.

Very good overall performance can’t really knock it other than weak defensive errors for the goals. But really enjoyable game

Best I've seen us play all season

Undeserved result but far more positives than that.

Thought McKirdy just came across as a poor man’s Jimmy Bullard.

A draw would have been a far fairer result.

And their no.20 (Williams) looked like a poor man’s Pukki. Was still class though to be fair

Thought he (Williams) was the best player on the pitch.

McCurdy was a handful. Moaned loads and tried a couple of swan dives. Pain in the arse but a threat. The exact type of player we lack.

About time we played poorly and won.

If we’re lacking in numbers, as seems likely, on Tuesday can’t seeing us getting anything.

Was Odimayo taken off for an injury or just cramp. Tomlinson felt his groin tweak, Barry out for a few weeks, McGirty no doubt suspended.

No idea how Garner will set up with those missing. Flood the midfield and Davison on his own up front I suppose.

More likely same team as Saturday but with Payne on from the start instead of McKirdy and Tomlinson fit and able to replace Odimayo (with Hunt back to RB)

Looks like Conroy could be on the bench if Frenchy starts in a 3:5:2, if not he will have been "Granted".

Maybe that's who Garner was talking about earlier in the week

If fit definitively need him back.
Looking short on options once again, the challenge with playing 2 games per week.
Will be the same for other clubs.

Reckon we will start with 5 at the back Tuesday as need to limit their threat from the off.

I would disagree with your point playing poorly.
You sometimes have to give credit to the opposition, they had their tails up supported by a vocal crowd.
Despite being under pressure we always looked capable of springing a counter attacking move. Two decent sides yesterday that made it a very entertaining game.
Would have been happy to come away with a point.
Bradford will take a few points off clubs challenging, I’m confident with that.

He’s been fit for weeks, Duke.

Absolutely, would be silly to change a formation that has got us 4 wins in 5 games. If all are fit then that should be the line up.

Loving the furore on Twitter/Insta from Harry McKirdy, he has upset a lot of Bradford fans with the "shit hole" comments, although he may need to be pulled back a bit by the club if he carries on as it may result in some problems for him at clubs we visit in the future!

For the time being hes loving the attention it seems and so many ex players joing in with the comments and laughs especially Simpson, Crichlow and Grant. Even several ex team mates loving it too.

Apparently he looks like a "homless lesbian" according to one comment, he is certainly a character, but he is our character.
