Colchester have an above average number of players I've heard of, for all that matters. Most weeks I'm lucky to recognise two or three!

They have gone for a lot of experienced players this season for sure.

Chance for Iandolo after Williams wins the ball but his shot is weak and at the keeper.

I see Colchester had another familiar name at fullback number 22.

Chance for Col U and Conroy clears it, Iandolo easily beaten to the header, good chance.

Iandolo gets in the way of McKirdy in the box and a good chance goes begging.

Great interception and pass from Conroy after Reed missplaces a pass in our half.

Davison doesnt have a very good first touch that we have seen as yet. He is 2 inches taller than Simpson but looks way smaller.

Colchester steward thinks we've sold almost 750 for today. Bloody good turn out if true, didn't see to many on the motorway on the way over.
Looks far nearer 500 to me but could be.

Williams down the left to Davison who crosses low to McKirdy but his finish is weak and is saved easily.

Davison’s run into good positions several times already.
